Gayla Meredith spent 23 years in a variety of educational settings in Canada's Northwest Territories. This first-hand experience in a remote, mult-cultural setting as a northern educator together with Gayla's territorial and national education advocacy, made clear - the realities and impacts of stress and burnout on caring professionals, personally and professionally.

In addition to being a a retired educator and a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner, Gayla's also holds certificaitons in Sound Therapy, Compassion Fatigue and Vicarious Trauma, and HeartMath's Stress, Anxiety and Emotional Regulation.

In addition, as a life-long learner curious about the science behind all aspects of energy work, Gayla continues to pursue professional development in the areas of  polyvagal theory, trauma response, trauma-informed practice, heart-rate variability, vagal toning, frequency medicine and sonic science, just to name a few. Gayla continues her learning through online courses, webinars, workshops, summits, HTP Healer Development series offerings and many other avenues of ongoing PD.
